Agent HUD Remote: answer, message and start sessions away from your Mac
Agent HUD Remote keeps your iPhone and Apple Watch connected to the Agent HUD release on your Mac through your own iCloud, on any network. On top of quotas, statistics and sessions, it brings conversations, messages, decisions, notes from your wrist, alerts and Live Activities. It is for Mac only, for now: with Windows, iPhone and Apple Watch connect on the same local network only, and Linux cannot connect yet.

What does Remote add?
On the same network as the Mac, quotas, token statistics, sessions, widgets and several Macs are free to use without it. Remote adds:
- Any network: your quotas, token statistics and sessions, away from home too.
- Conversations: read Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity and DeepSeek Harness sessions, and message Claude Code and Codex.
- Decisions: allow or deny a tool call, answer a question, approve a plan.
- Your wrist: an idea you say becomes a new session on your Mac, and the reply comes back to your watch.
- Alerts and Live Activities: alerts on iPhone and Apple Watch, and your running sessions on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

Reading a conversation
A conversation shows your prompts and the agent's visible replies, turn by turn. Private reasoning is left out. The text travels through your iCloud, end-to-end encrypted with keys in your iCloud Keychain.
On the Mac you decide whether conversations are shared, and which agents take part.
Messages to Claude Code and Codex
Write a message on iPhone, or say it to Apple Watch, and it goes into the session on your Mac as your own words, with no label added.
Claude Code receives it through Agent HUD's plugin for Claude Code, which holds it until the session is idle, so it never cuts into a running turn. Codex starts a turn with it, or adds it to the turn already running.
Decisions
A request waiting on the HUD also reaches your phone and your watch, with the command, the path or the lines an edit changes. Allow or deny a tool call, answer a question with one of its options or your own words, approve a plan or send it back for more planning.
The first answer to reach the Mac counts, and the request then leaves every screen. Agent HUD never decides for you: a request nobody answers goes back to the agent after the same wait as on the HUD, 10 minutes by default.
From your wrist
Say an idea to Apple Watch and send it to Claude Code or Codex. It starts a new session on your Mac, and the reply comes back to the watch, which can read it aloud. To discuss it or add detail, continue on iPhone, where a note can start a new session too.
Your voice becomes text on the iPhone itself, and nothing is sent until you have seen the text and confirmed it. A note can run up to 12 hours; a spoken reply to a session, up to 3 minutes.
Alerts and Live Activities
Alerts reach iPhone and Apple Watch: a new reply, a quota running low, used up or reset, and a request waiting for you.
Running sessions appear as Live Activities on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and on Apple Watch. They pass through Agent HUD's relay to Apple's push service. The relay keeps only what forwarding needs, each Mac's latest sessions and each phone's card, with no account identity, and deletes an account it has not heard from in 30 days.
Where does your data go?
Remote syncs through your own iCloud. Record contents are end-to-end encrypted with keys in your iCloud Keychain; only the text an alert shows stays outside that encryption, so iOS can display it. Your agents' credentials never go to iCloud, to the phone or to Agent HUD's servers.
On the Mac you also decide whether the phone may answer requests and send messages.
Getting Remote
Agent HUD Remote is a subscription in the App Store, inside the Agent HUD app for iPhone. It works with the release on macOS, because it syncs through iCloud.
Everything you do on the Mac itself, answering requests on the HUD included, needs no subscription.
Questions
Do I need Remote to answer requests on my Mac?
No. The HUD answers approvals, questions and plans on the Mac without a subscription. Remote brings the same requests to iPhone and Apple Watch.
Does a message from my phone interrupt the agent?
Not in Claude Code: the message waits until the session is idle. Codex can take it into the turn that is running.
Does Apple Watch need my iPhone nearby?
Not to answer a request: the watch sends its answer through iCloud itself. A spoken reply needs the iPhone within reach, because the iPhone turns your voice into text. A note waits, and is delivered when the two are together again.
Which iCloud account does Remote use?
Your own. The Mac, the iPhone and the watch use the same iCloud account; Agent HUD has no account of its own.
Which agents can I message?
Claude Code and Codex. Conversations from Antigravity and DeepSeek Harness can be read.
