GLM Coding Plan: quota

Agent HUD shows your GLM Coding Plan's limits and their reset times, read with a key your agents already use. GLM is a plan, not an agent: its sessions and tokens appear under the agent that made the calls.

At a glance

The GLM Coding Plan is a plan, not one of the supported agents: Agent HUD reads its quota. Everything else belongs to the agent that uses the plan.

What you see on the HUD

The plan's windows sit under GLM with your other quotas, each with its reset time: its token or credit limits, and an MCP window when GLM reports one. The most used of them sets GLM's colour in the glow: green under 70% used, yellow from 70%, red from 90%.

Do two keys show as one plan?

No. Agent HUD does not ask GLM who owns a key, so two different keys always show as two plans, even when they belong to one account. Both the international plan on Z.ai and the China plan on BigModel are read, and sessions that run on a China plan are priced from the China list.

Running turns and replies

They belong to the agent. A Claude Code, OpenCode or Pi session that runs on GLM shows its tokens, live status and replies on that agent's row, as far as that agent supports them. See Pi, OpenCode and Claude Code.

What does Agent HUD read?

The plan's key from where your agents already keep it: environment variables such as ZAI_API_KEY or GLM_API_KEY, Claude Code's settings when they route to a GLM endpoint, and the keys OpenCode, Pi and WorkBuddy hold. With that key it asks GLM's official quota service for the limits. No message goes to a model, no key command is run, and the key is not stored.

Proxies and other addresses

Only GLM's own HTTPS addresses for the coding plan are read. A key configured against a proxy or another API product shows no plan quota, because that address cannot answer for the plan.

On iPhone and Apple Watch

On the same network as the release, iPhone and Apple Watch show the GLM quota without a subscription. Agent HUD Remote shows it on any network.
