What you see on the HUD

Hermes sessions appear in the HUD's session list and in the statistics, with their tokens, models and, where the model has a list price, an estimated cost marked ≈. Their tokens count toward the last 24 hours on the hover panel.

Which account does it count against?

Agent HUD does not show one. It reads no plan or allowance for Hermes, so there is no quota to show, and it does not estimate one from token counts.

Running turns and replies

Not shown. Hermes gives Agent HUD no signal when a turn starts or ends, so the HUD does not show it at work and a finished turn brings no reminder. New usage appears as Hermes updates its database. Agent HUD adds nothing to Hermes's settings.

What does Agent HUD read?

The session and per-model usage tables of Hermes's state database, in ~/.hermes or the folder HERMES_HOME names: each session's title, folder, model and token counts. It does not read the messages. No credentials are read, and nothing is fetched over the network for Hermes.

Profiles

Each Hermes profile keeps its own database, and Agent HUD reads every one of them. A session belongs to the profile it ran in, so sessions from two profiles never merge.

On iPhone and Apple Watch

On the same network as the release, iPhone and Apple Watch show Hermes's tokens and sessions without a subscription. Agent HUD Remote shows them on any network.
